The first leg of the NER Showlumping league was held last Sunday 29th January at Kernans Equestrian Centre, Crossmaglen. A great turnout on a miserable day and the CLRC results are as follows:

CLRC Annual Dinner Dance

Prizewinners:

Our club held its annual dinner dance on Saturday night last in th Westenra Hotel Monaghan. The theme for the night was based on the 1920/30 era, entertainment was provided by the jazz band American Pie. The clubs committee would like to thank the individuals and businesses for donating the vast array of prizes for the raffles and also it was great to see the newly formed Mullaghmore Club come along and join us on the night. The 2011 award winners where also presented with their prizes and pictures can be viewed on the News page.

Orla Sheehan being presented with 'The Club horse of the year' award from Meredith Jackson, her horse Soverign won this on his achievements throughtout 2011.

David Breakey receiving his ' Individual Showjumping' award from Meredith Jackson ...one notable achievement was winning the red rosette in the very competitive Veteran class at the Airc Festival in Stradbally.

The 'Team Showjumping' award went to the following four ladies Barbara Johns, Samantha Johns, Ann Bowe and finally Sara Davis. This foursome narrowly missed out on qualifing for an international competition which was held at the AIRC festival in Stradbally.
